So the main doctor of Ava thought she was good to come home today, but the Kidney Doctor wants to wait another day or so. Her calcium level is still a little high so he wants to see tomorrow what it is. She is still on half calcuim low formula and regular formula. So if that doesn't work to bring her calcium level down they will put her on only calcium low formula.
Once Ava is home we will have to bring her in every couple weeks to check her levels and get ultrasounds of her kidney to make sure the kidney stone is still in the same spot. We will just need to keep a close eye on her and any signs that the kidney is clogged. Once she is big enough they will remove the kidney stone. She needs to be like almost 20 pounds. So we have a while. The kidney stone shouldn't cause her any pain unless it starts to move or clog.
She still has her fussy times but is doing much better and is sleeping now too. She seems like a happy baby now that everything is done and she is not getting bugged so much anymore. She is growing but slow. She weighs 7.4 I think when she gets home she will start to grow quick. We are so excited for her to come home.
In a blessing that I received before I had children said that I will have very special, strong children. Wow....that is so amazing...so true. My children are such strong individuals. Their fight for life is so amazing. I know that the Lord has a purpose for each one of us and the trials we go threw are to make us better and stronger people. The Lord never gives us something we can't handle. So I just put my trust in him and thank him each day for the blessings and trails he gives me.
