Ava Is Doing Great

So Mike stayed the night night and said Ava was great. She slept great and ate great. She has been a new baby since they put in the feeding tube. She is still eating her bottles but whatever she doesn't eat they put threw the tube. She has been sleeping and eating like a newborn baby should. So now we just need her to gain weight. The true test will be tonight at 8. That is when they weigh her. If she starts to gain weight she can come home this week!! We are so excited. Her levels have been good and the kidney stone has not moved. As long as it stays put it won't cause her pain. So we hope and pray that the stone stays where it needs to.
It is crazy to think that today has been one month that we have been in the hospital. It feels like four months. We are so excited to get our baby home and move on with the family of five. To sit in our home and be a family. We are so grateful for Ava that she is a fighter. Four months old...five surgeries...and she is still going strong...and getting stronger. We love her!
